Friday night we went to see the moon glow. The hot air balloons racing on Saturday were supposed to blow up their balloons at dusk to create a nice glow without taking off. Because of the lack of cooperation from Mother Nature they ended up doing a field of fire to start with. Then at the end a couple balloons did blow up. Anyway.....it was pretty cool. Definitely a pyromaniac's dream. :) Chloe really seemed to like it.
For a fleeting moment I considered getting up at 530 Saturday morning to go watch them launch for the race, but then I reclaimed my sanity and slept until 930. I woke up to thunder and lightning and sprinkling rain, so I'm betting the launch was not executed. Good thing I didn't get up!
