SEE THE WORLD SHE SAYS!
Dad here. Yes, a rare treat for anyone who reads the posts here. Today, the 14th of July, Chloe and I decided it would be cool to fly to Chicago and back. It was perfect weather here and there so off we went to the windy city! I must say, however, I will not be doing THAT again really soon. Chloe did good considering the amount of time she spent in a stoller or confined to my lap while riding public transportation. When we got home Chloe was going at about 110% but dad sort of resembled this:

So all things considered, I did manage to take a few pictures of our adventure. People were constantly being greeted by a little "HIIIII!" or a "HEEYYY" and it of course made everyone smile. We took the subway from the airport all the way to downtown...which takes almost an hour right now because one section from the airport to the first stop is under construction so you have to get on a shuttle bus for the first leg. Then about 20 stops later we got off the train and came out about 3 blocks from the Sears tower which was my goal for the day and I was determined to get there quiet kid or not.

Chloe was actually quite the trooper!

After a 60 second elevator rid to the top we were there! She was excited to get out of the stroller which she wanted to drive around the room as if there was nobody else in the room. We did manage to get a quick photo of her...

...and this is the view from the top!
So that kind of concludes the day for Chloe and I. I really doubt Chloe will ever remember today but I can assure you I will never forget it. Maybe next time we can hit up New York City?

Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I'm glad you can make little trips like that and get to spend so much time with Chloe.

How fun that you can do that with her. Doesn't matter that she won't remember. You will and there will be other times later! Enjoy your little sweet heart.

My guess is Stargazer is Josh... his e-mail is stargazer isn't it? Huh? Huh? Am I right? ;)

I'm with Melissa on this one. That polar bear made me laugh out loud. It's such a perfect descriptor!!! Maybe how I feel most days before it even starts. Ha.

Very cool that you can take off and have a day in a different city every once in awhile. The rest of us have to drive. :)

But the comments don't sound like Josh....I can't figure out who it is.?!

Your right... they DON'T sound like Josh at all.

My guess....stargazer is either Aaron or Wendy....or perhaps Nate!

oh...and this stargazer dilemma...haha funny. either it is one crazy coinkeydink that WHOEVER it is is using a sn that I commonly use, or they know me and they have been to or lived in Virginia.

Cheers, Joker007. You've got the edge with "Coinkeydink". Webster's look out. Yes! The English language is versatile. No dilemma...just a "hahafunny" appreciation of life and family. Oh, the Windy City is a "must see" even via stroller vision. Cheerio!
