Uncle Carlton (my mom's younger brother), Aunt Grace, Gavin, Sophie and Emma spent last night with us as a stop on their meander from Colorado to Maine. It was soooo nice to see them! Emma was the flower girl in our wedding and Sophie was still in mum's belly. I was realizing today that maybe it makes U. Carlton and A. Grace feel old to see me married and with a kid of my own since I was just a kid at their wedding. I suppose I'll understand the feeling when I visit Emma years from now with her husband and kids. :)

Chloe was trying on my shades this evening....
Tonight was Ladies' Night....hosted by the wonderful Kayla, Jennifer and Amanda. We had a back deck picnic and exchanged some recipes and summer entertaining tips. It's fun to get together as a group of ladies.....Chloe joined us since Aaron was working.
Chloe's figured out how to "smell the flowers" thanks to Brendan's careful tutelage.
