Father's Day weekend

We went down to Dave and Judy's for the weekend.... Got some scrabble games in.....watched Ben play t-ball....took all the dad's out to Red Lobster for supper. After lunch Sunday we headed back home and went to Dan & Nicole's for potluck supper Sunday evening. Weather was beautiful all weekend....a very welcome change from all the thunderstorms/rain/tornado warnings we had last week.

Happy Father's Day!!


So Jana and I went shopping together earlier in the week and ended up getting the same shirt for our husbands. We joked about how much fun it'd be to get them to show up somewhere with the same shirt on. So without them knowing, we both convinced them to wear the shirt on Sunday knowing we'd both be at Dan & Nicole's. Their faces when they discovered it were rather priceless (this photo was secretly captured later in the evening) since they both detest matching or color coordination. They've threatened to burn the shirt and never trust our wardrobe advice or suggestions in the future. It was pretty funny even though neither of them really want to admit it.
