Rootin for Dad & Tom

Today Dad and my brother Tom flew up to Base Camp on Mt. Denali @ 7300 ft to begin their adventure to climb to the top of North America. They've been looking forward to it since their training camp last summer in the Cascades and it's finally here. Not sure if the rest of us have been looking forward to the worry/anticipation until they're safely back near sea level.....but excited that they're excited I suppose. We'll be keeping track of them for the next 3 weeks here...they're Team X. So you can follow along too if you'd like. I'm just hoping they make it back in one piece without any major injuries/mishaps. And I'm not even their mother! :)

Wow. Thanks for sharing this. It'll be fun to watch their progress. I'd be worried sick, though. Hoping everything goes ok.

What an amazing adventure! Not everyone has the urge to climb to the top of the highest mountain on the North American continent. They must be very prepared to take on this feat-lots of training and physical conditioning. Wow! I pray for them God's protection, and I wish them strength and stamina for the duration. The temperature even in the summer months can be considerably below zero. They must be very committed to this adventure. No worries-Angels fly.
