a working day in the life of moi

I'll copy everyone else doing it....
Here's our day today from my point of view....maybe I'll get Aaron to tell his side.

330am- Chloe wakes up wanting to nurse....doesn't want to go back to sleep. Finally falls asleep again after lots of crying @ 415.
515am My alarm goes off...get up and shower....get ready for work, out the door by 615. Park on the street 6 blocks from work because I don't have parking privileges for the ramp near the hospital yet....walk the 6 blocks speedily to stay warm....grab a grande caramel macchiatto (sinful I know, but my one weekly indulgence of it) and a croissant @ Starbucks. Catch the shuttle from downtown over to Saint Mary's hospital for class starting at 7. OR inventory software class from 7-8, then OR documentation class from 820 to 11. Review questions as a group until 1130. Ride the shuttle back downtown and grab quick lunch at Jimmy John's...then to the locker room and changed into scrubs by 1215. Observed in the OR from 1245-300...got to see a kidney being taken out of the donor and prepped for placement in the recipient (aka procurement). WAY cool to watch. Meeting with the educator and other newbies until 330....then sprint walk the 6 blocks back to the car to rush home. Get home at 350....Aaron and Chloe are standing in the door waiting for me....Chloe gets handed off and Aaron's out the door to work after a quick kiss. Then rehydrate with several glasses of milk....afternoon snack. Chloe immediately wants to nurse..... And we've been playing with toys on the nursery floor for the last hour. Next maybe we'll go wander Target to get a few supplies for our trip to Puerto Rico on Monday. Supper....at Noodles maybe? Then gospel meeting @ 730 where I'll try to keep Chloe quiet and entertained by myself and try to hear something Jane and Angie say. Then home to crash into bed more than likely. Aaron will crawl into bed next to me sometime after 1045. And I have no idea whatsoever what Aaron and Chloe did together between 615 and 350. Can't wait until she can tell me....no more secrets hunnie!

Sounds like a scene straight out of Grey's Anatomy - well, the hospital part of things, not necessarily the parenting part. :) Hee.
