Christmas Game
So Thursday we had Nate and Jana and Carla over for a yummy lunch. Carla had to work an evening shift....and I was on call all day.....and Jana had to work Wed and Fri so they weren't going anywhere. We had turkey, stuffing, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole (I will NEVER call it hot-dish), jello, rolls, pumpkin pie and rhubarb/apple/berry pie. Everything was DEE-LISH thanks to my amazing chef of a husband. And then we spent the remainder of the day playing game after game after game in usual Miller/Starling style! Chris came over after he finished working his day shift and we played even more games and snacked all evening!! Thanks everyone for coming over and helping alleviate my homesickness!! 
BEST card game ever....it's a combo of rook/hearts/poker....made by the Chinese.....and they say on the box that Europeans have a difficult time understanding how to play. :) Jana and I vs. Nate and Aaron.....the win/loss balance is heavily in favor of the guys for some reason. We're convinced they cheat!

Fun, fun, fun. We're going to try to implement a game night again on Saturday night for the college boys in town once I'm not working Saturday evenings anymore.
Fun!!!! Thanks for reminding me of Tichu! We meant to go purchase that game after we played it with you last time we were up there! :) Say, is Chloe feeding her puppy some of her waffle?! :) Cute!
yeah...she likes to share her waffle....with anyone BUT mom and dad. You probly won't find tichu anywhere to buy...we haven't anyway....we ordered it online from the site where nate gets all his games.
waffles are a sign of a romantic! I can't wait to see ya'll!
