Highlights of the week:
-Aaron is on a bran muffin kick....we've had hot fresh homemade yummy healthy bran muffins most mornings this week. Chloe even likes them!
-We actually cooked Sunday lunch at home today....and it was delish! Aaron did a roast, acorn squash, broccoli and biscuits....and we invited Chris and Carla over despite the disastrous mess our house was in....hopefully we haven't scarred them for life!
(Are you sensing a possible reason why I love my husband?!)
-I got the essay written for my grad school application and will actually be able to send it in before we leave for vacation...no procrastination!
-Which brings me to the next highlight....in less than 7 days we will be in warm sunny Florida!! For a WHOLE week!!
-I was on call all weekend and my pager never went off!
-Friday evening I got to leave work early because Dr. Myers was out of town and we didn't have cases on until 10pm. WOOHOO!
-Aaron and I are into a fairly regular routine of going to the gym to work out. He goes in the evenings before day-care closes at 8 which Chloe loves......and I've been going most nights after I get off at 10 since they're open til 11. It's actually starting to feel good and I'm feeling guilty if I miss an evening. Now I just gotta work on the food part..... :)
Yesterday I had a caramel macchiatto from Starbucks that tasted just like I remember my first one tasting.....and it brought back memories of where my first one was. We were at Quincy Market in Boston to hear Lindsey's tuba christmas concert when she was playing baritone in school. I must have been like 11 or 12? We wandered through the market after the concert in front of Faneuil Hall....and ended up at Starbucks where Lindsey introduced me to the wonderful concoction of a caramel macchiatto. And I haven't strayed to any other coffee beverage on a regular basis since!

Finn loved the video :-) He was talking to Chloe and was very excited to hear some of his favorite words too!
