So it's been requested that I do the 7 random facts about me thing....I won't tag 7 people....but if you're an avid reader here and you feel the urge to do so.....go for it!
1. In high school I did poetry interpretation for public speaking tournaments. My winningest piece was a couple poems about some germans (humorous poems)....Hans Breitmann and "der noble Ritter Hugo Von Schwillensaufenstein"....I recited them with as authentic a german accent as I could muster. At one competition one of the other girls competing thought I was a german exchange student and was shocked to hear me speak normal english afterward. That was fun!
2. I can handle all manner of bodily fluids except sputum.....that's the one thing that gets me.
3. The only bone I've ever broken was my left little finger.....and I did it playing kickball. I was the pitcher.
4. When we went to Paris...we bought a week-long train pass and used the trains all week. We only went the wrong way on the trainline once. And our only car ride was in the mercedes back to the airport.....paid for by our hotel. The driver spoke french, spanish and portugese....no english. So I practiced my french with him. He was a very skilled driver in the chaos and small streets.
5. I have dipped my toes in the Atlantic Ocean in 2 different countries, the pacific ocean in one country, and the caribbean ocean in 3 different countries.
6. Aaron and I both have 2 brothers and 1 sister. We like the idea of 4 kids.....but so far we aren't brave enough to take the plunge to add to our one. Eventually.....I know we will.
7. People often thought my sister and I were twins growing up....despite the fact that she had blonde hair and I had brown....and I was always taller.....and we were 18 months apart. And if they didn't think we were twins they thought she was the older one. A lot of the time people still do....Maybe it won't be so bad when I'm 40 and she's 38 and they think I'm younger?

People often think I'm older than Bri too ... it was fun when we were younger, but probably won't be when I'm 38!! ;)
I'll be expecting a German accent speech demonstration next time I see you. ;)
I agree with you about not being able to handle sputum. That's the one thing I can't handle either. Ugh.
Yeah, I'd like to hear your German accent as well! ;)
Fun blog
